Some softbodies example files
So, this was the very first use of  softbodies i had in mind.
Giving a fully modelled, rigged, UV mappped.. and so on .. character or whatever you have the final kick. Add a little jiggle,  make it fold a little nicer. So following this idea, i think you will get the most blenders softbodies.
